The problem with handgun scopes on rifles is generally eye relief which is listed as 10-21" for this scope. The distance your eye must be from the eyepiece to get a full sight picture varies with the magnification setting, further away for lower magnification. For example, roughly 21" of eye relief are required to see properly at 2x magnification. This works for handguns held in outstretched arms but is much too long for most rifle mount setups. Most rifle scopes have eye relief in the range of a few inches.
