This is the rules in illinois which makes these guns legal. Has a stock with pistol grip so its legal also no extra grip.

Hi Paul, that is incorrect. Prohibited - A semiautomatic shotgun that has one or more of the following:
i. a pistol grip or thumbhole stock;
The Tokarev TAR12 clearly has a pistol grip.
The part that says 'Only a pistol grip without a stock attached' is for City of Highland Park, and state law overrides that.
