no it can not fire the 357 sig it can use 357 mag and 38 special. the 357 sig is a rimless case based on the 40 S&W
Hi Craig and welcome. No Sir. This is .357 Magnum only. The .357 is a rimmed cartridge and the .357 Sig is a rimless Semi-Auto cartridge and they are not interchangeable as pictured here : https://www.ssusa.org/content/357-sig-vs-357-magnum-which-is-more-powerful/

Hi Craig, you cannot use .357 Sig in this gun. .357 SIG is modern semiautomatic cartridge. The Marlin 1894 will shoot .357 magnum and .38 special. Stay safe & have a great day!
