I originally found this revolver on MidwayUSA (sorry Bud!) and I'm considering purchasing it, but everywhere I look it does not specify what the frame material is beneath the nickel plating. Some sites say that the frame IS nickel, which doesn't sound right. Wanted to know for durability/conversion cylinder purposes. Thanks all!

Hi Joseph and welcome. Traditions says this has a Nickel Barrel Guard and Frame Construction. This revolver is not a viable platform for a conversion cylinder for centerfire ammunition pressures.
