Unfortunately, in our state the Threaded Barrel is a No Go! One of the Ruger 10/22 models with the same threaded barrel & flash hider came in for another customer from some site as a transfer. My LGS could not let him take possession until they had the Threaded Barrel fitted with a thread cap that was welded on so as to make the threads unusable.
