they are telling you that the 10MM auto bullets are not "gas Checked' Gas checks are used in bullet casting to prevent leading and create a seal between the bullet and the barrel to withstand pressure and heat. The gas check provides a thin layer of harder but still malleable metal on the base of the bullet that obturates to provide a seal and prevents the propellant gas leakage that causes gas cutting, and helps the bullet grip the rifling. The gas check acts as a scraper taking most of the lead out of the bore with each shot.
The 10mm load here is not Gas Checked. It is rated at Muzzle velocity of 1041 fps and Muzzle energy of 481 ft/lbs. A true 10mm loaded Hard Cast Gas Checked load is the Doubletap 200gr load rated at 1300 fps muzzle velocity and energy of 750 ft lbs ------------ https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/34290/doubletap+ammunition+10mm200hc+hunter+10mm+auto+200+gr+hard+cast+solid+hcsld+20+bx+25+cs
