you can change the batteries without removing the laser

Hi Ronald and welcome. You simply remove one side of the unit to change the battery without removing the Laser guard. It works the exact same as the Crimson Laser Guard as shown starting around 2:00 in this installation video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1p7-eSHwMw  --------- Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
