Hi Jonathan and welcome. Both are Polymer/Plastic and are reinforced it key stress points by metal inserts. It actually is quite tough. I remember a few decades back when Glock came on the scene with plastic guns and people balked. Now they too likely own a Glock. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
