Yes it is +P rated however like all guns a steady diet of +P rounds will cause increases wear
Absolutely is!! Send those +P's down Range!!! But...I wouldn't go and feed any firearm a steady diet of +P ammo due to the higher pressures created by the +P round. It may cause premature wear/damage to the guns internals and increase the intervals between your cleanings.
Hi Robert and welcome. Yes Sir. A bit of advice though, It takes 4 inches of barrel for the extra powder of +P loads to be completely burned. You will not get the increased velocity you think from this short a barrel. Just more muzzle flash from unburnt powder, slower follow up shots due to more muzzle blast and maybe a quarter the muzzle velocity increase than from at least a 4 in barrel. Shooting a quality standard .38 Special round is more beneficial - less recoil/muzzle blast, similar velocity, faster follow up shot accuracy. Out of a snub, that basketball size fireball will destroy your night vision and disorient your eardrum's ability to detect sound, i.e. ringing in the ears. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
