Uberti only advertises this rifle as shooting 22LR. I would follow the ammunition stamped on the barrel for safety and warranty issues. Uberti should be able to give you their take on firing other than 22LR from this rifle at Phone: (301) 283-6981 (option 2) or (800) 264-4962 (option 2)

This fires 22LR Only. Don't try all 3.
Only use 22LR (it likes 40gn) and 22LR "quiet" subsonic - A friend has one and uses subsonic so the neighbors don't complain when he shoots targets in his back yard..He gets some quarter size groups at 50 yds using a rest and 40gn bullets.
