It's actually one of your best options. 3x for close shots. 9x for deer at longer ranges. It's good out to 1000 yards.

Jaden, this would work fine on a 300 blackout. Personally I've owned two Bushnell trophy's and wasn't that crazy about them. I've bought alot of 100-200 dollar scopes and I've found the Burris fullfield or droptine are the best options.
