I checked the website and couldn't find information regarding the use of modern ammo like buffalo bore and Underwoods. I don't want to be stuck using lower pressure cowboy loads hunting. Can these safely use the modern higher pressure loads?

Hi Dustin, the R95 is not listed on the Buffalo Bore web site as compatible with their ammo. I would call Rossi for an accurate answer. Monday - Friday  8:00 am - 6:00 pm EDT 229-210-2727 ore 800-948-8029

Hi Dustin and welcome. Standard Saami Pressure new loads are not an issue. Buffalo Bore heavy loads are not recommended through this firearm. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

i would not use heavy ammo in the rossi if you want to shoot heavy loads i recommend Henry and Marlin
