I just purchased my first .44 mag Colt Anaconda with the short barrel. I'm trying to learn about the best ammo to use in my new Colt that will cause maximum damage to the target without damaging the gun. Would the Hornady 300 grain jacketed hollow point extreme ammunition be suited and safe for what I'm looking for? Thanks

It's a Colt revolver.  It will handle this ammo just fine.
