In order to implement this on your Glock 44, you would need to send your slide out, as the G44 is not factory Optics ready (MOS), & Have it milled for this optics footprint, so it would be a direct fit. Personally, I do not like the dovetail optics Adapters, you will find it trying to keep it zeroed.
