You can technically shoot a .380 out of a 9mm most of the time it might not shoot that well generally..380 a little bit slimmer
Technically.380 will shoot out of a 9mm how well is the question I know sometimes .380 can be just a little bit slimmer
Hi Gary and welcome. Both cartridges fire the same 9mm (0.355") diameter bullet, but the. 380 ACP has a shorter overall case length and is, therefore, the more anemic round. In the absence of moon clips, the 9mm head spaces on the case mouth and the shorter 380 would slide to far in the cylinder. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
.380 ACP. case sit into 9mm moonclips but they fall out if not held in the correct position. It would not work to load the revolver in a normal manner. Reduced power 9mm reloads will work just fine but .380 should be considered a no go.
