Hi Andrew, the is NOT NJ compliant. It has a threaded barrel AND a pistol grip. You cannot have more the 1 'evil' feature on a semi-auto rifle in NJ. If you find it for sale locally, the thread protector has been pinned/welded to make it compliant, but is NOT compliant as it sits.
