Is the castle nut removable? I know the threads are 5/8 - 24 but .595 - 32 keeps coming up in reference to the flash suppressor originally on the rifle. Can ya use the original castle nut?

Hi Dave, if I understand correctly, your rifle is threaded .595 -32?  If so, you will need this .595-32 to 5/8 x 24 adapter >>> https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020069898?pid=786663
