Hi Richard, the CA model comes with the uncaptured guide rod, as opposed to the other p22s , that come with the factory captured guide rod assembly. Walther can't change the originally approved CA pistol. Why only 1 magazine? That is something you would need to ask Walther. Stay safe & have a great day!
