I've never owned a weapon with blueing . I'm wondering if the blueing needs extra care or do you clean and protect as normal. I don't want to spend over $ 1500.00 on an item that looses it value with fading, etc

Hi Walter and welcome. Present day blueing is durable and will last with proper cleaning and proper storage. I use rust preventive storage bags for all my firearms.
