Hi Ethan, it is a factory dyed frame. This is a Lipsey's Exclusive. On these two tone guns, the colored frames that come from Lipseys (FDE and grey) are factory dyed frames. The full color (frame and slide) guns are a factory dyed frame and a cerakote slide. Stay safe & have a great day!
