Looks as though the safety is on the right like it's a left handed gun.. Perhaps it is located on both sides? Anyone know?

It is an ambidextrous safety, there is a lever on both sides.

Look closely and you'll notice this model has an ambidextrous safety. Accessible from left & right sides.
