The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, mutiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme enviroments and gloved operators. The frame also features a smooth trigger, reversible mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop. The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. Glock's nDLC finish provides a tougher, more durable protection against corrosion and scratching. The Glock Marksman barrel features a barrel rifling which delivers improved accuracy. This Glock Gen 5 model has an AmeriGlo green with orange outline front night sight and green rear sight.

Great reliable accurate gun that came from the factory with night sights. Shoots straight out of the box, never had a failure in all this time and it has earned it's spot as my go to defensive handgun when things go bump in the night.

Ordering from this site is a great experience, this is the lowest price and the gun shipped out fast. I ordered it February the 3rd and it arrived at my FFL February the 10th. The gun was in excellent condition.

I prefer the Gen 5 over the Gen 4 because they've removed the finger grooves. For me that makes it a little more comfortable. The orange mag followers are a nice touch. The Ameriglo night sights including with this version work pretty well. You're not going to want them for target shooting but in a carry situation they're great for fast target acquisition. The tritium is nice and bright after dark.
I'm not really sure what else to say. It's a Glock.It's reasonably priced. It's a hunk of plastic that's not going to win any awards for being pretty or stylish but that's not what it's made for. It's meant to go bang every time you pull the trigger and for that it performs perfectly.

Never been a big fan of previous Glock generations due to the finger grooves but the gen5 without the finger grooves feels good in my hand. The Ameriglo sights are nice too since all defensive handguns should have night sights. Overall I'm happy with the G17 and Buds always has good competitive prices with excellent customer service.

great price, quick shipping, no problems. all my local gun shops couldn't beat Buds price. picked up at shoot straight in tampa. great store, but couldn't even get the new glock 17, gen 5. great to have a local shop you trust (shoot straight), but check Buds before you purchase !
