Hi Ernest, The bolt Century Arms made for the VSKA is machined from 4140 carburized steel, which adds a layer of case-hardening to increase the surface hardness improving wear and corrosion resistance. The front trunnion and bolt carrier are machined out of S7 tool steel from a forged billet.
