To check remove the bolt carrier, put a light in the receiver and look down the bore from the muzzle - all circles should be concentric. Century Arms ARMS VSKA 762X39 16.5 barrel has a concentric left hand 14x1 metric thread and is ready for a variety of muzzle devices.

A: Daniel, Install the attachment. Remove the bolt carrier, put a light in the receiver and look down the bore from the muzzle - all circles should be concentric. Muzzle brakes and flash hiders usually have significant clearance so it would have to be way off before it could influence bullet flight. I haven't heard of any AKs with original barrels having this problem.
