To provide longer wear resistance and better corrosion protection from environmental conditions, the G3c slide is treated with a proven Tenifer finish—delivering more robust surface integrity to minimize scuffing and maximize corrosion resistance. In addition, all operational controls benefit from a black Teflon coating which provides corrosion and rust resistance as well as a reduced friction coefficient that offers smoother operation.
ERGONOMIC FRAME AND MAG
An ergonomic grip profile—with its expertly contoured palm swell, highly textured grip panels, memory pads for precise, repeatable finger/hand placement, and sculpted extended base plate—provides a glove-like fit for most shooters’ hands to better promote accuracy and firearm retention. For enhanced performance, scallops are included with the G3c magazine extension. These are designed to assist in tactical magazine changes should dust or grit prevent the magazine from dropping freely when depressing the mag release. The G3c comes standard with a 12-round magazine. Fifteen- and 17-round G3c magazines will also be available for customers who desire even higher capacity.
UPGRADED FLAT TRIGGER SYSTEM
Engineered for accuracy-enhancing performance, the upgraded G3c trigger has an exceptionally crisp break to reduce shot disturbance and to help tighten groups. A redesigned flat trigger face concentrates finger pressure on the front of the shoe for a straighter pull while a shorter trigger reset delivers quicker follow-up shots, reduces sight alignment disturbance, and minimizes the tendency to jerk the trigger.

Designed to withstand the rigors of everyday carry, the G3c comes standard with all-steel front and rear sights. The rear sight is serrated to reduce glare and quicken sight picture acquisition, while drift adjustability allows the shooter to fine-tune the point-of-impact. The rear sight dovetail is also cut to dimensions which accept the most common aftermarket fiber-optic or tritium night sights available.

Standard rear serrations are now accompanied by serrations at the front of the slide to provide a more tactile surface area for a more positive grip—making slide manipulation and press checks easier regardless of operating style or hand size. A visual chamber indicator replaces the mechanical indicator found on the Taurus® G2c, reducing parts and streamlining the slide profile.

At 53yrs old, this was my first actual gun purchase from an online firearms dealer. I'm an old school, face to face, exchange cash money for firearm, a handshake, and on my way. Taurus has always been a leader in the firearms industry. Great price for a great product. The G3C shoots great and has very little recoil. Pick one up when you can. Great to have in your arsenal.

Great gun for anyone who wants a reliable inexpensive carry gun. Shoots great. Nowhere near as snappy as all the micro 9mm guns out there.

Bought this for my first ever firearm in 2022 and it has held strong up to this day with not a single misfire or jam. Compared to more high dollar pistols I’ve purchased since then this pistol I have to say, in some ways, I prefer over the others. Honestly have to say it’s a very good quality cheap 9mm to start out with if you’re on the hunt for something good and affordable.

For the price, the G3C is hard to beat. Solid ergonomics, surprisingly good trigger for a budget pistol, and it’s been reliable at the range. Great grip texture, easy to control, and perfect as a backup or budget carry option. Definitely worth the purchase.

This was my second handgun purchase as a newbie to firearms. My first choice was a Glock G17, Gen 3. I love both purchases but realized that the Glock was too large for me to conceal carry. After looking at You Tube videos & reviews, I decided on the Taurus G3, because it’s smaller, easier to conceal, and has a manual safety. Sometimes I even forget that I’m wearing it inside my belly band. I’m highly satisfied with this smaller handgun and would recommend it as a first time purchase. Thanks a bunch.
