Beretta APX-A1 Full Size 9mm pistol takes the proven ergonomics,
reliability and accuracy of the APX family and delivers a superior
firing solution. Features are red dot optic ready slide with Aquatech
shield coating that improves corrosion and chemical resistance; black
serrated rear sight and tritium front sight; ambidextrous controls are
configurable for right or left-handed shooters, with both the slide and
mag release.

The first handgun I ever shot and grew up with my dad at the range was a 92FS. So there is nostalgia to me with Beretta. I later had an M9 in the army. First off, I love the look of this firearm. I was a fan of the APX Zero slide but I actually like this better. I am a sucker for a solid duty gun with aggressive serrations and with the rebate at the time(still waiting on two rebates from Beretta from an A1 Carry and this..) can’t go wrong. Grip is nice and trigger reach isn’t too far for my bk jr hands. Trigger has very very little to no take up to a solid wall and crisp break. Reset is pretty much back to the take up but there’s pretty much no take up anyway. Trigger pull is a little on the heavier side, but I think it needs so breaking in. Remember very short take up, so it makes it more manageable. I have about 200 rounds through so far. I did have a few failures to fires and upon looking could see slide was slightly ajar and not returning to full battery. Break in issue I hope, many people have said this gun is reliable. The action of racking the slide is not as smooth as some of my other guns. I think this will change with break in though. I did not clean it before first shots, just put some oil on quick. I like the optic mounting system with the big circle recoil posts. Should help with plate/optic stability. Had to order plate from Beretta (just FYI) doesn’t come with them. I’ve heard of some people complaining of the finish when they purchased. I don’t see any issues with the finish on mine. I think for the money, good buy.

Great pistol! Competitive with many of other pistols I own. For the price you can't beat it. It's close to my Glock 17 and my Sig Sauer full size P320. Thanks, Bud's

As far as Buds goes, flawless service as always. The APX A1 FS is by far the most underrated and under appreciated firearm of the modern day. This is likely due to a lot of folks being turned off by the appearance of the slide for the first gen. Whether you love or hate the changes, the fact is that the result is a beautiful firearm at a price that produces far more value than most of its peers. I love this thing. I also love that the magazines are VERY reasonably priced, which is a concern for me because I have 10 magazines for each of my pistols. So a high price tag really adds up. In addition, I like that they have 20 round magazines as well, that don't cost a great deal more. Throw in optic cuts out of the box and you have a high value pistol. I've owned half a dozen Berettas over the years and have yet to be disappointed. Great weapon.

I wanted to love this pistol for its price but beyond the great price it wasn’t worth a darn to me, it consistently was hitting low right, and it wasn’t me. Others say its great so maybe I got a bad one.

Amazing Pistol!!!!. It's really ergonomic. I used with a Burris Fasfire 4 Red Dot and the accuracy is excellent. Smooth trigger with a balanced recoil. Excellent option for shooters interested in a very good 4" barrel pistol at reasonable price. The process to disassembly for clean is very simple and the components shows the well known Beretta quality. Very recommendable!!

I was so impressed by the Berette APX A1 full size. Operation si so smooth and no surprises. I added a red dot to it and was loving it as I target practiced with it. In fact I liked it so much I ordered a second one !!
