  Plain Barrel Mossberg 500/590 12 Gauge models only

• Q: Will this fit the Maverick 88? The one on the Mossberg website says it will; I just want to be sure it's the same thing before I buy it.

  David, that version for the Maverick on Mossberg's website is listed as model 95065 here : (https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/46334/mossberg+heat+shield+kit+blued) and the one above is 95066. Interesting that they both list the 500/590 12 gauge only. I would simply contact Mossberg Customer Service to be sure at (800) 363-3555.

  Zach - this shield will fit the 50420 tactical without issue. Many tactical models have ghost ring sights, which won't work with this shield. You however, should have zero problems with the 50420 tactical model.

  Paul, the maker says it Fits: - Plain Barrel Mossberg 500/590 12 Gauge models only - Note: This heat shield will not fit the 835, 590A1 series, or any version shotgun with Ghost Ring Sights. (It's probably possible but would void any warranty or return possibility).
