So, I think I'll try two after I get a reply from Mossberg on making things for the far superior velocity shotgun (410)... A: Zach - this shield will fit the 50420 tactical without issue. Many tactical models have ghost ring sights, which won't work with this shield. You however, should have zero problems with the 50420 tactical model.

A: David, that version for the Maverick on Mossberg's website is listed as model 95065 here : (https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/46334/mossberg+heat+shield+kit+blued) and the one above is 95066. Interesting that they both list the 500/590 12 gauge only. I would simply contact Mossberg Customer Service to be sure at (800) 363-3555.
