Buffalo Bore Heavy .357 Magnum ammunition uses a 140-grain lead-free copper XPB hollow-point bullet designed for powerful performance in suitable firearms. This full-power load is intended for all-steel .357 Magnum revolvers and rifles. The brass-cased cartridge produces substantial muzzle performance, with more noticeable muzzle flash from revolvers than from rifles. It should not be used in revolvers with lightweight alloy frames or cylinders.
