CCI Roundshell .44 Special ammunition uses a rigid plastic shot capsule that breaks apart on rifling to deliver a shot payload from compatible .44 Special firearms. A flexible base wad helps prevent gas blow-by, while reliable CCI primers support consistent ignition. The 140-grain load leaves the muzzle at 1,000 feet / second and is packaged in a reusable 10-round pocket pack. Residue removes with normal firearm cleaning methods.

I purchased these...
I purchased these because I didn't want to set-up my reloading equipment for only a few rounds. BIG mistake. I carried these all day in a belt holster and didn't have an opportunity to test on any varmints, and I'm glad I didn't need to. When I returned to the truck and unloaded the revolver I found that the shot capsules were NOT secured dependably and I had two payloads that had slipped out of the cases and bound the cylinder. I imagine recoil would also cause this condition. I'll once again be loading my own.

I have not had to use...
