DoubleTap Hardcast Solid ammunition is loaded with a 320-grain wide flat nose hardcast lead bullet designed for deep, reliable penetration in .44 Remington Mag revolvers and carbines. This standard-pressure load produces a listed muzzle velocity of 1325 feet / second and 1248 foot-pounds of energy from a 7.5-inch barrel. Performance is listed at 1265 feet / second from a 6-inch Colt Anaconda and 1125 feet / second from a 2.5-inch Ruger Alaskan. The brass-cased ammunition is intended for hunting and woods-defense applications in properly maintained firearms chambered for .44 Remington Mag.
