Started using this ammo for SASS Wild Bunch matches a few months ago. Have put over 500 rounds downrange in both competition and practice without issue. The grain weight for this product is actually 220 grain and the reduced power factor (175) is helpful for faster shooting. I have both Rock Island and Tisas Government Model (5") 1911s with 16lb recoil springs and use both Wilson Combat and Kimber magazines. This is a great product for action pistol competition and Bud's has the best pricing I have found. If you are looking for reduced power .45 ACP that will function reliably in a 1911 with a standard power recoil spring, give this product a try.

Ammo has very low...
Ammo has very low recoil and a lower muzzle velocity than most .45s. Still functions in my 1911s but shoots lower at 25 yards.
