The Federal Premium...

The Federal Premium 300 WM load using the Barnes 180 TSX is easily the most accurate factory ammunition I have used in my rifle. I have not used it to take any game. However, I have used the Federal 338 WM 225 TSX load for a variety of plains game in Namibia with very good results. One shot kills were the rule. Most shots were between 200 and 300 yards with one about 75 yards. One animal ran a short distance while all others dropped where they stood. I would expect similar results with the 300 WM on appropriately sized game as it is the same bullet but in .308 diameter.
