G2 Research R.I.P. ammunition is designed for .40 S&W handguns and uses a 115-grain copper hollow-point projectile with eight trocar-shaped petals. The petal design is intended to promote controlled energy transfer in soft targets while the solid central projectile continues forward. Each box contains 20 brass-cased rounds loaded for a listed muzzle velocity of 1080 feet / second and muzzle energy of 298 foot-pounds.
