Glaser Blue .38 Special +P ammunition uses an 80-grain pre-fragmented frangible projectile engineered to break apart on impact. The high-velocity load reaches 1350 feet / second and produces approximately 324 foot-pounds of muzzle energy. It is packaged in a six-round box and uses dependable brass cases. Factory standard models do not include a conventional lead-core full metal jacket projectile; this load is specifically configured as a frangible defensive round.
