Flawless function and...
Flawless function and accurate out of my CMMG AR. Will be using this for whitetail season this year, but will try to keep shots within 100 yds, as minimum velocity for expansion as listed on Hornady's website equates to just past 100 yds out of a 16" barrel.

Excellent ammo. If you...
Excellent ammo. If you are like me and loved the 30/30, well this cartridge drives the nails in the 30/30s coffin. Problem is this, and it has nothing to do with the ammo. It was designed for the AR platform but the "budget" ARs that I've used are problematic. If you want to park your old Winchester 3030, then go buy a bolt action Ruger that fires this round and you will be happy. Back to the ammo. it's Hornady Whitetail.. obviously it's good

Shoots well, not too...
Shoots well, not too dirty. Accuracy was good. Recoil wasn't too bad out of an 18" AR-15.
