Product Overview
Hornady Frangible Training Ammunition provides a lead-free training option for .40 S&W pistols. Its frangible projectile is designed for training on steel targets at close distances while helping reduce ricochet risk compared with conventional projectiles. The lead-free construction also makes this load well suited to indoor range environments. Each round uses a brass case, lead-free primer, optimized propellant, and a 125-grain frangible projectile.
Key Features
- 125-grain frangible projectile supports realistic .40 S&W training
- Lead-free projectile and primer construction for indoor range use
- Designed to help reduce ricochet risk when training with steel targets
- Brass cases provide reliable feeding and extraction
- 50-round box supports extended training sessions
Choose Hornady Frangible Training Ammunition for lead-free .40 S&W practice on suitable steel targets and indoor ranges.

This is my first time...
This is my first time shooting frangible ammo but it wasn't bad. Hornady is as good as it gets, I have a P320C 40S&w and this 125 grain ammo functions without a problem and has almost no recoil. That's all that matters.

I purchased two boxes...
I purchased two boxes of this ammo. I received in a timely fashion. I am fully satisfied with both the price and delivery of the product to me. I will order this item for future use for my annual qualification requirements. In addition, I was kept up to date on all aspects of my order inclusive of changes to shipping and mail. I genuinely appreciate the communication.
