Description
Product Overview
Hornady Pennsylvania Conical Bullets are designed for hunters using longer-barreled muzzleloading firearms with slower twist rates. Each .50-caliber projectile is a 240-grain solid cold-swaged lead conical bullet with a hollow base. Compared with a typical lead round ball, its heavier design provides approximately 35 percent more weight, while the conical shape promotes stability in flight and can support improved accuracy.

Pa conicals are great...
Pa conicals are great in my flintlock. Much simpler and quicker than a patch and ball. Able to hold good groups out to 100 yds with these.

I am an occasional shooter and just started the hobby. THese round nosed bullets are amazing. I have a cva wolf 50cal and usually use my home molded 45 cal in sabots. I was sent these Hornady round nose with several other designs by my brother to test. At 100 yards i could do better than 1-3 inch groups with all but one design. With my 45cal with sabot i got 1 inch center to center groups. THese Hornady round nose just pushed down the barrel with the factory lube got same hole and 1/2 in center to center overlapping hole groups and their biggest group all day was 3/4 center to center.
