Liberty Ammunition Steel Plate Range .223 Remington ammunition is designed for lead-free training on steel plates and other hard targets at close range. Each round uses a 55-grain SinterFire frangible projectile made from a copper and tin composite. The projectile is engineered to disintegrate into small particles upon impact with surfaces harder than itself, helping reduce ricochet hazards during appropriate training use. This new-production ammunition features non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
