A: Jimmy, Yes, remington updated the projectile with a pointed nose instead of the round nose design. From reviews penetration/expansion are almost identical between the two, they just updated the design. I'd imagine you will receive the new pointed version unless buds had some old stock laying around and with ammo sales being as high as they are highly unlikely but as I said from reviews sounds like they're just as good. A: Jimmy, no problem, glad we could help. Like i said from reviews sounds like they're just as good with almost identical penetration and expansion. You could try ordering a box and seeing if you receive the older version and if so then stock up but with ammo sales it'll likely be the newer version.
