A deadly and...
A deadly and devastating round for all my .38 snubbies. The old Chicago FBI Load is as dependable today as it was when it made it's debut 50 years ago. Great expansion without unnecessary risk of overpenetration. Low flash and easily controlled. Yes, there are more powerful fancy rounds with copper tops, shark killers and such. Unless you are going up against heavily armored and armed bandits or taking on a grizzly or other heavy predator, these work. Use'em.

These semi wadcutters...
These semi wadcutters have become a go-to low recoil round for both a 38 Special snubby and a 357 Magnum. There's some flash, smoke, and residue to clean up with this design, but they're "wheel guns" after all, and there are no failures to fire on into the second box. Less recoil = longer range time.
