Its stacked hollow point design adds a secondary cavity behind the primary cavity, while V-shaped jacket skives and scores promote controlled, uniform expansion. A toothed cannelure helps lock the jacket and core together for enhanced structural integrity and weight retention. The ammunition uses Techni-Crom coated brass cases to support smooth feeding and extraction while improving corrosion resistance. This standard-pressure loading produces a muzzle velocity of 1050 feet / second and muzzle energy of 453 foot-pounds.
