Excellent ammo. 454...
Excellent ammo. 454 casull. Was getting crimp creep with hornady ammo, 300 grain xtp. Ruger alaskan firearm. Bullet would creep from brass case while firing one round to next. That would eventually prevent cylinder fron rotating, due to bullet protruding from case.. Underwood has tighter crimp with nickel plated brass casing. Shot 2 cylinders full to test. So far so good.they were loaded with same 300 grain xtp....

Top tier 454 ammo....
Top tier 454 ammo. Case is very high quality and this ammo is very reliable/accurate out of both a Super Redhawk 7.5" and even a Super Redhawk Alaskan 2.5" as well. Definitely worth the extra couple bucks over the competition. Even cheap 454 ammo is expensive so its a no brainer to spring for the excellent Underwood option.
