A: Yes, it is reliable stuff. I've also tried their 22 short ammo and those also worked well. The Browning is a high quality firearm and will cycle this ammo well. The Chiappa is will also work well. I've used these on 4 AR style rifles. I'm a big 22 fan. I've tried so many ammo brands. These will do the job. Now if you plan to do some match shooting I would try this out, but especially try out as many types as you can to see what your particular firearm likes the most.

A: No, 22mag is a good bit longer. That means if a 22lr rounds loaded in the chamber it's going to have alot of room to move, Wich can cause bad things to happen. I'd highly recommend against it and standard manufacturing even states not to shoot 22lr in them. Sorry but hope this helps.
