CCI Quiet-22 .22 LR ammunition is designed for reduced-report recreational shooting and plinking. Each cartridge uses a 40-grain lead round-nose bullet at a low muzzle velocity of approximately 710 feet / second, producing a substantially quieter report than standard-velocity .22 LR ammunition. The load is well suited to bolt-action rifles and single-shot firearms, and it is also compatible with many semi-automatic .22 LR firearms, although cycling performance can vary by firearm.
