A: Yes, CCI Stinger is some of the better "Quality controlled" 22 LR ammunition you can get. Consistent down to the 'higher" velocity as well. Only the CCI Velocitor are better.

A: For the utmost consistency, use a digital scale and pick out a batch of the closest weight rounds from the box (Closest in powder charge) and you will be surprised. I learned this from my Grand father and it works.

A: I just checked my gsg owners manual an it said standard velocity (1050fps )and high velocity 22 lr ammo(1240 fps) the stinger at hyper velocity at 1640 fps and will batter the action of the gun remember the GSG is a zinc alloy slide and frame; not a heavy steel gun

A: One will get nowhere close to the "Rifle" velocities listed on these boxes out of a pistol. These are 18inch barrel velocities and the actual velocity spread out of a pistol barrel will be significantly less in a pistol than from a rifle barrel.

A: Thaddeus, CCI Stinger is the de-facto standard for 22LR ammunition and will be fine in the Ruger Mark IV. I have been using them for years in both Target and Hunting without issue in the Mark IV. I use only CCI in 22LR and 22 Magnum. On the same note, Ruger does maintain your warranty and this is a Hyper Velocity load and would make this an easy out for any warranty claims. Again, I have not had an issue.

A: Yes, as with the Aguila ammo, they would be safe to shoot out of your M&P compact but, like +P centerfire ammo you don't want to feed it a steady diet of Hyper velocity ammo as it may induce wear on internal parts in shorter intervals requiring more frequent maintenance/cleaning & possible repair/replacement of parts.
