Winchester Varmint X Lead Free .17 WSM ammunition is designed for predator and varmint hunting. Each 15-grain ballistic-tip bullet features a lead-free core, polymer tip, and thin alloy jacket with an engineered sidewall profile. The polymer tip supports a flatter trajectory and rapid expansion, while the lightweight projectile is designed for explosive fragmentation on impact. Each box contains 50 brass-cased rounds.

This is an excellent...

This is an excellent 17 WSM round, my Savage B-Mag Target loves this round, it is consistent and I have not had any misfires which is rare in rimfire cartridges. The round feeds smoothly with no mechanical problems. This is one you should try and having a rimfire traveling at 3300 fps is just below a 17 Hornet (17 grain) centerfire, and this round is around half the cost of the Hornet! I shoot a LOT of these cartridges and I can say the 17 WSM is a very under rated round. Mated to the Savage B-Mag Target it becomes the Ferrari of the rimfire world!
