HEVI-Shot Classic Doubles 28 Gauge ammunition is designed to bring dependable performance to older and fixed choke shotguns. Each 2 3/4-inch shell carries a 5/8-ounce payload of #4 HEVI-Shot pellets. The tungsten-based, non-toxic shot is 26 percent denser than steel while remaining soft enough to reduce concerns associated with steel ammunition. Belted spherical pellets maximize pellet mass and penetration, while buffered and nano-treated pellets help produce tighter patterns.
