Very nice fit and...
Very nice fit and finish. Minimal deburring required. Removing the barrel required a few taps on loading lever but a little work with steel wool and lube fixed that.

I found out about buds...
I found out about buds from Hickok 45 on you tube. So I checked them out. Buds shipped out my cimarron by uberti in just a few days. \r \r The gun has a tight lock with excellent timming. The finish is great looking too.\r \r At 7 yards with a round ball and 25 grains of 777 I'm getting about 3" groups at point of aim! Excellent shooter. I recommend using .380 balls as .375 balls are about the same size as the chamber and was not shaving a lead ring off each ball.

This particular model...
This particular model is not very historically accurate, but it's very nicely made. It won't be competition accurate out of the box, and I noticed some rough spots in the machine finishing of the slot for the barrel wedge. None of this impairs it's function, it will still lock up nice and tight with an easy disassembly. If you plan on taking it to serious competition, you should plan on getting it professionally tuned up anyway. Very honest 4 out of 5 stars: great quality and function with very minor cosmetic imperfections on parts you can't even see without full disassembly.
