The Traditions Vortek StrikerFire LDR .50 caliber inline muzzleloader uses a 209 primer ignition system and a VAPR twist barrel to help stabilize a wider range of bullets for improved accuracy and consistency. Built around the TAC Trigger System, this model features a two-stage competition-style trigger feel, plus a 1-piece Accelerator Breech Plug for reliable performance. The Speed Load System and included Quick-T Ramrod Handle make loading more comfortable and efficient.

Dealing with Buds was...
Dealing with Buds was smooth and easy. The Vortek was here in 3 days and in great condition. I put a Vortex Diamondback HP 4x16x42 on it. I then bore sighted it and went to the range fired 1 shot at 25 was 2 inch's low 2 inch's left.. I moved the crosshairs to the bullet hole next shot was dead on at 25 yds. Next shot at 100 yds was 2 inch's high 1 inch right . Adjusted the scope 4 clicks left I didn't adjust elevation because I wanted 2 inch high at 100 . I then shot 3 shot group that clover leafed one hole. I then switched bullets and repeated. I was using 110 grains BH 209 Winchester blue box 209 shotgun primer 275 grain federal bor lock and power belt ELR 270 grain. I am very pleased with this rifle.
